My name is Blakely Queen, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, College of Public Health. I received my MPH in Health Promotion & Behavior in May of 2026. Throughout my graduate program, I was involved with an organization for children with type 1 diabetes (T1D), as well as working with the PACE lab as a Graduate Research Assistant. Both made a lasting impact on me personally and professionally, which led me to apply to and eventually accept a position as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Atlanta Diabetes Associates. The PACE Lab set me up for success by opening many different research opportunities as well as providing hands-on experience collecting and analyzing data. Dr. Gay and the PACE Lab provided a great environment for me to learn and build my research skills to set me up for great success in my career!
