The Physical Activity & Community Environment (PACE) Lab is led by Dr. Jennie Gay and operates within the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia. The goal of the PACE Lab at the University of Georgia is to rethink existing spaces for physical activity. We conduct research and engage with communities to identify how social and physical environments shape physical activity behaviors and how physical activity can improve environmental health. We also train undergraduate and graduate students through hands-on research experiences to support skill and content development in research and community outreach.
